Reflexology is a hands-on treatment that is meant to bring the body to a state of harmony and balance. It's based on the principle that a map of the body is reflected on the hands, feet, and ears. By applying pressure to specific points on these areas one can affect various organs and parts of the body. Reflexology balances the nervous system by stimulating the nerve endings of the feet, which connect with the spinal nerves and their corresponding organs. It works with the circulatory system breaking up congestion and deposits in the feet, which also stimulates the corresponding organs and helps detoxify the body.

One of the most common uses for reflexology is stress relief (and since stress is attributed to 80% of all health challenges, this is especially important). Outside of using it for stress relief, reflexology is also a beneficial tool for improving circulation, relieving pain, and as an immune and nervous system stimulator. In fact, many people with allergies and chronic sinus problems; acid reflux and other digestive issues; migraines; PMS, menopause, and fertility problems; insomnia; fibromyalgia; depression and anxiety; back/shoulder/neck pain; and arthritis report significantly improved conditions as a result of the treatment. Even if you are healthy, reflexology is beneficial as preventative medicine for the body and soul.
